We submitted evidence to the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee’s Modernising Elections Inquiry. We highlighted the need to address the democratic deficit facing women and recommended bringing Section 106 into force, alongside re-establishing an Access to Elected Office Fund to support disabled candidates.
