Working with Disability Rights UK and Disability Policy Centre coordinated over 30 organisations to sign a statement calling for the reinstatement of the Access to Elected Office Fund.

Collaborated with Disability Rights UK and Disability Policy Centre to respond to the Government’s Disability Action Plan consultation.

Roundtable with the Jo Cox Foundation

Hosted a cross-party roundtable with the Jo Cox Foundation to review draft recommendations from the Jo Cox Civility Commission.

Conducted two roundtables in partnerships

Brought together over 100 women in parliament to celebrate the achievements of women MPs and call for more women to be selected. Women MPs shared their number relating to the order they were sworn in out of all women MPs.

Collaborated with Muslim Women’s Network UK, Elect Her and 5050 Parliament to bring together MPs and women of colour in politics to share their stories and insights.

Organised an online event on ‘Delivering a diverse and gender-equal parliament’ with a panel of political figures and over 60 attendees.

Joined forces with the TUC, Fawcett Society, and others to call for the suspension of an MP suspected of rape pending a full investigation.

Signed letter to Leader of the House

62 women’s rights organisations and activists signed a letter to the Leader of the House, urging against allowing MPs to debate bullying and harassment cases.

Produced ‘Data Drives Diversity’ report with input from Women2Win, Professor Sarah Childs, EHRC and Electoral Reform Society as part of the campaign to #Enact106.

Enact 106 commitment

Labour, Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and the SNP all committed to enacting Section 106 of the Equality Act in their manifestos for the General election.

Improved support for women MPs

Won improved support for women MPs and staff working in Parliament who experience sexual harassment and Glitch digital selfcare training provided for candidates.

Secured a debate on online abuse

Secured a debate on online abuse against women in politics and convened a diverse group of women’s organisations to lobby Ministers drafting the current Online Harms Bill.
