In December 2024, we brought together Conservative women for an in-person roundtable in Parliament, sponsored by Mims Davies MP. The discussion focused on the experiences of Conservative women seeking selection and standing as candidates at the general election, particularly exploring the financial barriers they encountered. This roundtable formed part of our collaboration with academics at the University of Bath on the Money Matters: Financial Barriers to Women’s Political Representation (MoWoRep) project. The insights and experiences shared during the session will play a key role in shaping our ongoing campaign to address the financial challenges faced by women in politics.
