In November 2025, in collaboration with The Sustainability Community and The Yorkshire Women’s Forum, Centenary Action Business-Link hosted an inspiring evening at EY in Leeds, bringing together North East female founders, northern business leaders, and political voices to explore how Northern Regenerative Leaders can influence Westminster.
The panel shared their personal journeys into public life – the motivations, challenges, and pivotal moments that led them to serve – and highlighted why bringing northern voices into national decision-making is essential. Attendees also heard about Centenary Action’s mission to achieve a gender equal parliament by the centenary of equal franchise in 2028.
