Centenary Action is delighted to be taking on the role of Secretariat for the Women in Parliament APPG. The inaugural meeting was held on 23rd October 2024. At the meeting Mims Davies MP and Dawn Butler MP were elected as Co-Chairs and Baroness Grey-Thompson and Sarah Dyke MP were elected as Officers. There was a wide ranging discussion about how the APPG can be the vehicle for creating a drumbeat of activity towards the centenary of equal suffrage in 2028, with the goal of achieving equal representation by this date.
