On Tuesday June 10th, the Centenary Action Business Link brought together women from politics and business for a structured networking session.
The session was opened by Emily Wallace, who shared insights into her work at Trade Association Forum and her initiative to increase female leadership within trade associations. She set an inspiring tone: “For us to move the dial, we need to work cross-party – and that’s what we as women do best.”
We also heard from Tracy Stones, who spoke about the role of the Conservative Women’s Organisation and the cross-party efforts to boost female participation in politics.
Carol Parillon from EDI then highlighted how FTSE and Blue Chip organisations are using the degree apprenticeship pipeline to drive transformation, improve social mobility, and strengthen their businesses.
