Centenary Action welcomed the Labour Party Manifesto commitment to establish a Modernisation Committee tasked with reforming House of Commons procedures, driving up standards,
and improving working practices. If Labour form the next government, then we will work to ensure that the committee looks at the issues that particularly impact women and encourage them to implement the recommendations in the Open House report. We also welcomed reassurances from Labour that Section 106 of the Equality Act would be enacted in full. You can read our X post here.
