Centenary Action was delighted to join a roundtable on ‘Unravelling (Financial) Barriers Faced by Women in Politics’ in Portcullis House in Parliament. The event was organised by Professor Hilde Coffe and Kaitlin Senk from the University of Bath and brought together women candidates with organisations and academics working on representation issues. The event started with a presentation about Hilde and Kaitlin’s research into campaign finance, which you can read more about here. We also heard from Katie from Elect Her about how personal finance impacts on women’s ability to campaign. There was then a wide ranging discussion.
